POLICIES AND REGULATIONS FOR USE OF FAIRGROUNDS WITH
CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT

Within limitations imposed by the best interests of the fairground, the use of the facilities may be secured for programs, under conditions suggested and subject to regulations listed.

CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE: A certificate of insurance for liability coverage will be required to be provided to the Fair Board by each user who rents the tracka nd grandstand or the entire fair gounds.

FAIRGROUNDS CLEAN-UP DEPOSIT

DEPOSIT: A deposit will be required for clean-up expenses for the entire grounds, grandstand, track, and Livestock Pavilion. The deposit also covers damage to fairgrounds property. The deposit will be 25% of the rental contract, with a minimum of $25.00. If a deposit needs to be made for a livestock show, the amount of the deposit will be subject to how large the livestock show will be and will be determined by the Fair Board Grounds Committee.

1. Clean up the facility immediately after the event.

2. Within thirty (30) days after the event, write a letter to the Fair Board of Decatur County, Inc., P.O. Box   242, Greensburg, IN 47240, requesting your refund.

3. The Fair Board will act on your request at the next regular Fair Board meeting after your request is received. Board decision will be made after considering the recommendation of the groundskeeper concerning conditions of the facility used.

MISCELLANEOUS

1. Because the date and nature of request must not interfere with scheduled Fair activities or conflict with Fair Board standards:
a. Contemplated programs must be known to be wholesome entertainment.
b. Responsibility for care of the building, conduct of participants and spectators, compliance with all rules and equipment being left in the same condition found, shall rest with the organization or individual using the facilities.

2. The organization or individual using the facilities shall secure names of witnesses to any accident that may occur during said use and shall furnish to any Board member a full written report of such accident, assuming all liability and damage (beyond Fair protection) which may arise because of said accident.

3. It shall be the responsibility of sponsoring group to anticipate needs in facilities and take initiative to satisfy them.

4. Facilities are not available for all activities. New activities must be approved by the Fair Board.

5. KEYS : Keys for the buildings will not be given to those renting buildings except for Sunday rentals. Buildings will be opened and closed by the groundskeeper according to the times listed on this rental agreement.
Sunday rentals: To obtain a key, call the Groundskeeper. Deposit will only be refunded by the Fair Board.

6. Alcoholic beverages may be served only by a licensed bartender. The user of the facilities accepts all liability for any claims arising from the use of alcoholic beverages. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the fairgrounds during the Decatur County 4-H Fair. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the Livestock Pavilion.
